To help us know who is contacting the students we have defined those able to contact students while enrolled in the program.
A family member is an immediate parent, grandparent, sibling, spouse or child of the student. A fiancée MUST be accompanied by parent(s) or the students Teen Challenge counselor approve a chaperone for all visits.
May I call the student?
Yes, we encourage the positive encouragement of family during a students time
with us. We have an average of 200 students involved in the phase two Training Center. To allow as many men to keep in contact with family as possible we must have a structure in our students telephone usage per person.
Students are able to share in two phone calls per week (Monday through Sunday). These calls can be either incoming calls or outgoing calls. To make outgoing phone calls, students must have a way of paying for the calls. Most students use calling cards available at our student store on campus.
Time limit for ALL calls is fifteen minutes.
